How to Check & Pay Pending e-Challan Online

e-Challan is a digital traffic enforcement system introduced by the government. Drivers can check if their vehicle has been caught in speed violations, red light jumps, or other traffic infractions. Here is the pay guide:

  1. Open the official national e-Challan payment portal: echallan.parivahan.gov.in.
  2. Choose your search method: **Challan Number**, **Vehicle Number** (needs Chassis/Engine last 5 digits), or **Driving Licence Number**.
  3. Enter the details and solve the security captcha.
  4. Click **"Get Detail"** to see any pending traffic tickets.
  5. If you have a fine, click **"Pay Now"**, authenticate via OTP, and complete your payment using secure debit cards or UPI.
