How to Pay Traffic Challan Online (चालान पेमेंट ऑनलाइन)

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) provides a centralized system to pay all traffic challans securely. Follow these steps:

  Go to the official MoRTH [eChallan Parivahan Site](https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/) on your browser.

  Select searching by **Challan Number**, **Vehicle Number** (needs chassis/engine last 5 digits), or **DL Number**.

Paying Challans Sent to Court (कोर्ट चालान भुगतान)

If your challan status shows as "Sent to Court", it means the payment period has lapsed on the standard Parivahan database. To pay this court-forwarded ticket:

1. Visit the official **Virtual Court Portal** at **vcourts.gov.in**.
2. Select your State (e.g. Uttar Pradesh, Delhi) where the violation occurred.
3. Search using your Mobile Number, CNR Number, or Party Name.
4. Accept the fine proposed by the Virtual Judge and pay the transaction online to close the court summons.
